When I am in a state of growth or mental decline these 3 stages (The Liminal, The Repressed, The Expressed) are often passed through; they are connected but the line of communication between them can feel severed at times. For many people this feeling of disconnect or isolation is experienced when dealing with general wellbeing and mental health which is where the purpose of this workshop was birthed. The Liminal, The Repressed, The Expressed is a workshop I lead as part of wellbeing week at Imperial College. It encouraged students to use mono-printing to welcome, accept and explore how each of these stages in life help us process events in our lives.
